Fast Track Zangle Training on July 28 & 29 for Employees with Site Tech Duties

The IT Training Team is offering an abbreviated, quick start Zangle Training for Employees with Site Tech Duties on Thursday, July 28th and Friday, July 29th at the Fremont Training Center in Old Town. There are 4 three-hour courses offered:

Zangle Training for Employees with Site Tech Duties – Overview including Attendance and Enrollment (ERO code: Z-Train-Overview) Thursday, July 28 - 8:00-11:00 AM - Fremont B6
Zangle Training for Employees with Site Tech Duties - Manipulating an Individual Student's Schedule (ERO code: Z-Train-StuSch) Thursday, July 28 - 12:00-3:00 PM - Fremont B6
Zangle Training for Employees with Site Tech Duties - Mass Course Requests and Building Course Sections (ERO code: Z-Train-MasterSch) Friday, July 29 - 8:00-11:00 AM - Fremont B6
Zangle Training for Employees with Site Tech Duties - Loading Students and Master Schedule Reports (ERO code: Z-Train-Load/Reports) Friday, July 29 - 12:00-3:00 PM - Fremont B6

Please register via ERO for these trainings, as well as for the IT Back-to-School Conference. Participants with site assignments who have the above responsibilities will be compensated for attending the above classes.

Full Zangle training classes will be offered when classified staff returns at the end of August. All training classes can be found under the Zangle Curriculum in ERO.

New Registration Application for Scheduling Training

On August 1, 2009, the Information Technology Division and all departments that administer District Professional Development and Training activated a new web-based system called Electronic Registrar On-Line (ERO).

This is now the only way to register for training sessions.

You can access ERO’s login page directly by going to http://sandi.net/ero. It is recommended that you review the job aid available at http://sandi.net/zangle/training/ERO_jobaid.pdf before logging in.

Web Sites Unavailable December 29th

On Monday, December 29, 2008, the district website, e-mail and District Wide Application (DWA) systems will be unavailable from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight, for system maintenance.

During this time, employees will not have access to:

• The District Website (www.sandi.net)
• Outlook E-mail
• DWA applications (DataDirector, PeopleSoft, Zangle, Cognos & Encore)
  

from school sites or from home.

Password Self Service Web Page Redesigned

The Password Self Service (PSS) page has been redesigned. It was apparent from Help Desk calls that many returning users are unclear about whether Reset or Change options applies to them as they are currently described.

These have been replaced with Forgot Password and Change Password, with additional page re-organization to help better distinguish between options.
